PT. Mitra Galperti Was established in Jakarta – April 1995 with the
company’s name is PT Mitra Project Fitting & Pipe Utama and started
as sales office of the Project Fitting & Pipe (PFP) Group located in
Perth Australia. The PFP Group companies has sales ofice Throughout
ASEAN countries with the major office in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,
Thailang dan Taiwan.
As a part of large, recognized and forward looking flange & valve
manufacture from Italy named OFFICINE NICOLA GALPERTI & FIGLIO, SpA.
PFP Group which half of is share owned by OFFCINE NICOLA GALPERTI &
FIGLIO, SpA, gained the liading position in the area market, and
OFFICENE NICOLA GALPERTI & FIGLIO, SpA to be main principal of their
business.
In September 2006, OFFICINE NICOLA GALPERTI & FIGLIO, SpA bought the
share of PT. Mitra PFP utama from PFP group. Since then the company
name change of PT. Mitra PFP Utama from PFP Group. Since the company
name changed from PT. Mitra PFP utama to be PT. MITRA GALPERTI. As a
result of this acquisition, PT. Mitra Galperti has a bigger access to be
Pipe & Fittings Trader with fully support from the principal and
has emerged as the area foremost stockiest.
Recentyly, PT. Mitra Galperti is a trading and stockiest of completed
range of Piping & Pressure Vessel components including Pipe,
Fitting, Flanges, Compact flanges, clamp connectors & valves. Our
major client are Oil & Gas Project Companies, Oil & Gas Project
Constractors, Fertilizer Plant, Vessel Fabricator & other related
area suitable with our product supplied.
PT. Mitra Galperti has main representative office in Pekanbaru,
Balikpapan and warehouse in JABABEKA Cikarang. With solid track record
as reliable supplier and stockiest for more than 10 years, we together
with our new share holde committed to bring much better service to all
of our clients. Now PT. Mitra Galperti inventory in Jababeka Cikarang
has several tons of Flanges and mainly are CS Flange which project
requirement and stock material. in the near future, PT. Mitra Galperti
plan to do manufacturing process of flanges in indonesia with fully
support from the principal in order to get the local content product.
FLANGE
Misalignment flanges are used as a
connector for bolting together two misaligned pipelines. The basic
principle of the Misalignment flange is a ball and socket arrangement,
that provides the required angular misalignment whilst still maintaining
parallel flange faces. This allows regular bolt tensioners be used for
assembly.
WELD NECK
Weld Neck Flange is flanges that designed to be joined to a piping
system by butt welding. This kind of flange include lots of
specification,Weld neck Flange is expensive because of its long neck and
cost of people for contact WN flange with pipeline or fitting, but is
preferred for high stress applications. The necks, or hubs, transmits
stresses to the pipeline. The gradual transition of thickness from the
base of the hub to the wall thickness at the butt weld provides
important reinforcement of the Weld Neck flange. The bore of Weld-Neck
flange matches bore of the pipeline, reducing turbulence and erosion.
SLIP-ON
Slip on flange are slipped over the pipe and welded (usually both inside
and outside) to provide strength and prevent leakage. Slip on Flanges
are at the low cost end of the scale, and do not require high accuracy
when cutting the pipe to length. These slip on can sometimes have a boss
or hub, and can be made with a bore to suit either pipe or tube.
LAP JOINT
Lap Joint Flanges called are used on piping fitted with lapped pipe or
with lap joint stub ends the combined initial cost of the two items
being approximately one-third higher than that of comparable welding
neck flanges. Their pressure-holding ability is little, if any, better
than that of slip-on flanges and the fatigue life of the assembly is
only one-tenth that of welding neck flanges. The lap joint flange with
the stub end assembly are normally used in systems requiring frequent
dismantling for inspection and cleaning and where the ability to swivel
flanges and to align bolt holes materially eases the erection of large
diameter or unusually stiff piping. Lap Joint flanges have certain
special advantages:Freedom to swivel around the pipe facilitates the
lining up of opposing flange bolt holes.Lack of contact with the fluid
in the pipe often permits the use of inexpensive carbon steel flanges
with corrosion resistant pipe. In systems which erode or corrode
quickly, the flanges may be salvaged for re-use.
SOCKET WELDING
SW forged flange is similar to the slip-on flange, same to socket
welding flange, but the bore is counter-bored to accept pipe. The
diameter of the remaining bore is the same as the inside diameter of the
pipe. The Socket Welding Flange is attached to the pipe by a fillet
weld around the hub of the flange. An optional internal weld may be
applied in high stress applications. The biggest use of Socket Flanges
is in high pressure systems such as hydraulic and steam lines.
THREADED
Threaded Flanges (Screwed flanges)are similar to slip-on flanges in
outline, but the bore is threaded, thus enabling assembly without
welding. This obviously limits its application to relatively low
pressure piping systems. Threaded Flanges may be welded around the joint
after assembly, but this is not considered a satisfactory method of
increasing the flanges’ pressure applications. Threaded flange use in
low press condition usually.
G-BLOK® – TRUNNION-MOUNTED BALL VALVES
The term “trunnion-mounted” describes a ball valve design where the ball
is fixed in the plane of the axis of rotation and where the seats are
free to move laterally towards the ball sealing surface to effect a leak
tight seal. The movement of the seats is by a combination of flow
forces, of pressure loads and of other mechanical loads such as springs
or similar mechanism. The load exerted by the thrust spring or similar
mechanism at the seats provides the sealing loads to effect the seat to
ball sealing at low pressare conditions. The loading at the seat to ball
interface is assisted by pressure loading as the line pressure
increases. The bearings at each trunnion and the sizing of the stem
shaft diameters are designed to withstand operational and pressare loads
as specified by application, pressure class, differential pressure
conditions and as may be required for the gear or motor operation of the
valve.

The function of a cap fitting is to
block off the end of a line in a piping system. The cap is fitted by
placing the end cap over the open line and welding around the joint.
